WEEK 3 JOURNAL : Social Media Campaign
WEEK 3 JOURNAL : Social Media Campaign
This week, I learned about social media campaigns and how they help businesses reach their goals. A campaign simply means working in an organized way to achieve something. In social media, it means using different platforms to support a business goal.
I discovered that running a successful campaign starts with listening, finding out what people online are talking about. After that, it’s important to talk to experts and even customers to understand their experiences. I also learned that inspiration can come from many places, including innovators with fresh ideas and even non-business people who think differently.
Another thing that stood out to me is that sometimes you just have to try. Start the campaign, observe what competitors are doing, and keep checking your results. It's also good to test different platforms to see what works best.
Engaging the audience is very important, so I must post creative content and stay consistent. Going silent can kill a campaign. I also learned the importance of creating a unique hashtag to make the campaign easy to find.
Overall, this week showed me that social media campaigns require planning, creativity, and consistency. It was a simple but eye-opening lesson.
